Companies typically request:
1. From a past manager
2. From a co-worker
3. From a subordinate for manager positions and above
Ensure you get recommendations from the above three (3) categories.
You can screen the comments and choose to add if it adds value else write out what you want the person to say and ask if they can post that instead.
Have recommendations that span the attributes you want to make visible.
Always keep in mind who you can build trust with to be a good recommender.
